Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. in Southlake, TX seeks a logistics supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships, coordinate loads, and optimize routing in a fast-paced truckload environment.

You will interface with billing, safety, payroll, and maintenance while ensuring timely attendance and driver satisfaction. Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k), stock purchases, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and proven management ability; proficient with computer terminals and satellite communications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships by understanding and meeting driver needs (home time, payroll, equipment issues, etc.).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, destination, freight type, miles, stops and driver availability.
• Understand and adhere to customer dynamics, service expectations and goals to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
