Job summary

Lonestar Electrical Supply in Texas is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to support efficient vehicle fleet operations, coordinating day-to-day activities, vendor relations, compliance, and input on fleet strategy. The Fleet Coordinator will work closely with Operational Leadership to ensure fleet operations align with company goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

Solid experience in fleet management or related field.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
Excellent problem solving and timely decision making.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to various worksites and vendor locations in Texas.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor fleet policies and safety protocols.
Coordinate vehicle acquisition, maintenance, repairs, and decommissioning with branches.
Track fleet expenditures including fuel and maintenance for cost efficiency.
Maintain communication with fleet partners for vehicle prep and servicing.
Monitor vendor performance and recommend new relationships as needed.
Ensure compliance with DOT standards and safety policies.
Review driver performance and telematics reporting for safety and maintenance.
Provide reports on fleet performance and identify improvement areas.
Analyze data on vehicle status, deliveries, and supply chain issues.
