Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee a vehicle fleet for a major client. You will cultivate client relationships, provide day-to-day account support, and identify cost-saving solutions to optimize fleet productivity.

Key duties include managing variable fleet units, conducting inspections, coordinating detailing, scheduling repairs with vendors, and maintaining accurate records. Requires travel between West Deptford and Logan Township, NJ; on-site role; contract-to-hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BS/BA in business or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years managing rental or fleet vehicles with repair, maintenance, and customer service experience.
• 2–5 years customer service or client account management experience in a B2B environment
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage variable fleet units.
• Perform pre- and post-inspection of fleet.
• Coordinate light detailing and cleaning of fleet units.
• Schedule with vendors for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure refueling of returned units.
• Foster relationships with clients, vendors and fleet personnel.
• Record keep all activities completed, by vendor or third party.
• Collaborate with Buyer and Customer to improve program and create efficiencies.
