TEKsystems is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager for a fully onsite role in Midland, TX with oversight of daily fleet operations across multiple locations. You will manage the vehicle lifecycle, ensure safety/compliance, and optimize costs while coordinating with drivers, vendors, and clients.

The position is a 6‑month contract-to-hire with weekend/holiday availability as needed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of fleet management experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to drive

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
5+ years of fleet management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Mansioni

Oversee day-to-day fleet operations to ensure vehicle availability, safety, and efficiency.
Manage the full vehicle lifecycle including acquisition, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and disposal.
Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide support.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships for quality service and cost-effective maintenance.
Monitor fleet expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Maintain accurate fleet inventories and compliance documentation.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Ensure regulatory, safety, and policy compliance.
Analyze operational data and generate reports using Excel and Office tools.
Provide exceptional customer service and account support to fleet clients.
