Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Support Administrator in Santa Ana, CA to keep our fleet ready for action. You will perform daily inventory checks, manage vehicle availability, and coordinate repairs with dealerships and body shops.

You’ll support maintenance scheduling, issue purchase orders, and organize drivers to ensure smooth operations. You will also prep new vehicles for rental, manage documentation and inventory entries, and oversee disposal preparation with condition reports and repairs

Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities with data-driven insights to improve fleet operations.
• Highly organized with ability to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders and documentation.
• Team player thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with all stakeholders and clear results delivery.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week, including day/evening shifts, and travel 5–10% (air travel possible).
• Willing to wear company uniform; speaking other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless fleet operations by daily inventory checks, managing vehicle availability, and coordinating with dealerships/body shops for repairs.
• Assist Fleet Manager by scheduling maintenance, obtaining estimates, generating purchase orders, and coordinating drivers.
• Prepare new vehicles for rental: add documentation, decals, and tags, and add to inventory system.
• Oversee preparation of vehicles for disposal: complete condition reports, verify equipment, coordinate repairs.
• Monitor shift activities: vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and plan for future fleet demand.
