Job summary

Dayton Public Schools seeks a Mechanic to repair and maintain district vehicles, including buses, cars, and vans. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problems and perform preventative maintenance to keep the fleet safe and ready for service.

Candidates must have 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience with diesel and gas engines, ABS, and emissions systems; you must hold a valid driver's license and obtain an Ohio Class A CDL with school bus endorsements within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience with ABS brakes, emissions control systems, and engine diagnostics.
