Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Midland, TX to perform maintenance and repair on mixed fleet equipment including ready mix trucks and semi tractors. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure work complies with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include testing repaired equipment, inputting repair data, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Requires a valid CDL, physical ability, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and understand schematic diagrams.
• Stand for long periods on varied surfaces.
• Ability to move freely, including stooping, crawling and bending at knees and waist.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance to fleet equipment.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and calibration devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance such as lubrication and oil changes.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake and steering problems.
• Ensure maintenance operations meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Create work orders and input maintenance data into the database.
• Test equipment after repair for proper performance and safety compliance.
• Rebuild or fabricate parts as needed.
