Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A or B preferred).
• Experience with diesel engines and transmissions for heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair fleet equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubrication and oil changes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering problems.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements (FMCSA, DOT).
• Create work orders and log repairs daily.
• Test equipment after repair for proper performance.
• Rebuild or fabricate parts as needed.
• Maintain FMCSA logs and DOT records.
• Keep workspace clean and safe; promote safety culture.
