Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction materials in the United States, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair of ready mix trucks, semi tractors, medium duty trucks, and pneumatics. Maximize equipment availability with efficient preventive maintenance programs.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure safety and compliance with federal/state regulations. Three years of related experience or mechanics training preferred; valid CDL highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A or B preferred.
• 3 years experience related to duties or mechanics program graduate.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Able to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Able to stand for long periods and move freely.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair fleet equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to pinpoint faults and required repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
