Job summary

Amrize seeks a Mechanic in the United States to maintain and repair fleet equipment, including ready mix trucks and tractors. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering systems, creating repair work orders, and documenting activities in the maintenance system. A high school diploma and valid CDL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair fleet equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Drive and operate trucks with safety and efficiency in mind.
• CDL Class A or B preferred; ability to obtain/maintain license as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tests to identify faults and necessary repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and record keeping in maintenance database.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering systems as needed.
• Ensure work is done in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Test equipment post-repair to confirm proper operation and safety compliance.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; follow PPE and safety protocols.
