Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mechanic in the United States to perform maintenance and repairs on fleet equipment including ready mix trucks and tractors. You will maximize equipment availability through proactive maintenance and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years experience in diesel/heavy equipment maintenance.
• Valid CDL (A or B) preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance including lubrications and oil changes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brakes and steering issues.
• draft work orders and log repairs in the maintenance system.
• Test equipment post-repair to ensure safety and compliance.
