Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic responsible for maintenance and repair of ready mix trucks, semi tractors, and other fleet equipment. You will maximize availability through proactive preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults with computerized equipment, performing routine services, and ensuring compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Must read manuals, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• 3 years related mechanical experience or heavy equipment diesel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment and calibration devices to troubleshoot faults.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance like lubrications and oil changes.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering systems.
• Create and update work orders; log maintenance in database.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure safety and performance.
• Maintain FMCSA logs, DOT inspections, and brake certifications.
• Keep workspace clean and tools organized.
