Job summary

Amrize is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet equipment including ready mix trucks and tractors. You will maximize equipment availability through proactive maintenance and diagnostics.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid CDL and 3 years of related experience with heavy equipment diesel engines. You will work on-site with a team focused on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A or B CDL preferred.
• 3 years of related mechanic experience with heavy equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on fleet equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify faults and determine repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes and steering issues.
• Maintain and update repair logs and safety records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
