Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, and drive systems. On-site and road service responsibilities ensure equipment stays in service while supporting drivers on routes.

Qualifications

Diagnose multi-system issues with technical proficiency.
Experience or training in maintenance on Class 1-8 trucks or similar machinery.
Preference for ASE certification and/or CDL.
Graduation from automotive college or tech school within next 3 months.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle components and systems on-site or on-road.
Perform chassis, refuse body, electrical, braking, engine, and HVAC maintenance.
Carry out line welding and fabrication as needed.
Provide road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation safely.
