Job summary

Paragon Leasing L.P. is seeking a Fleet Manager in Dallas, TX to supervise inbound and outbound activities for a long-haul driver fleet.

You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries by coordinating driver assignments, equipment, and schedules while maintaining strong relationships with drivers and internal teams. The role demands leadership ability, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of DOT regulations, with a focus on driving KPI performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in professional work setting; 1+ years in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong computer skills in Windows environments (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships as coaches and advocates for our drivers across divisions.
• Drive engagement and career growth of drivers through positive relationships.
• Review schedules to ensure sufficient hours of service for on-time delivery.
• Inform drivers of customer and company expectations with freight assignments.
• Route drivers for home time and secure equipment at authorized locations.
• Motivate drivers to hit KPIs like utilization, service, safety and retention.
• Counsel drivers who violate safety standards; arrange retraining as needed.
• Communicate service disruptions to internal teams to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to assigned drivers.
• Provide real-time data to systems for load assignments, planning, tracking and tracing.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
