Job summary

Landair Transport seeks a Fleet Manager to bridge drivers, customers, and operations. This entry‑level manager will guide a group of experienced drivers, coach performance, and help achieve customer service goals while maximizing driver utilization and asset productivity.

You will coordinate with customers on fleet activity, track loads, and ensure timely ETAs/PTAs, while maintaining compliance with DOT/HOS. Strong MS Office skills and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• AS400 and/or TMW experience preferred but not required.
• 0-3 years management or leadership experience.
• Transportation industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Dedicated Fleet of Professional Drivers.
• Assist in managing messaging for overall operations.
• Coordinate service, safety, maintenance, and driver utilization.
• Track and trace trucks and home time requests.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide feedback to drivers.
• Update AS400 and/or TMW data accurately.
