Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum four years unrestricted driving experience.
• Minimum one year formal mechanic training or experience in servicing light- and medium-duty vehicles.
• Experience working on buses or trucks.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and foster positive relationships with coworkers and partners.
• Assist Master Mechanic in vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Read, interpret, and work from manuals, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Operate compressors, steam cleaners, pneumatic and electric tools.
• Deliver and pickup equipment requiring a Class C CDL.
• Maintain records and logs of servicing vehicles and equipment.
• Change bulbs, wiper blades and other simple mechanical parts.
• Clean parts and engines, wash vehicles, and tidy shop and storage areas.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
