Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in automotive maintenance for Mechanic Class C and B.
• 3–5 years’ experience for Mechanic Class A.
• Must possess a DOT card and pass a negative DOT–FTA pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts and repairs automotive equipment using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Overhauls engines and repairs brakes, tires and electrical systems on various vehicles.
• Prepare records and documentation of work performed.
• Complies with safety policies and reports safety events and maintenance concerns.
