Job summary

Republic Services in Redmond, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician B who will repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including trucks, chassis, refuse bodies, and control systems.

You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-site road service as needed to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. A CDL is a plus, ASE T1-T8 is a plus, and 3-5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a technician role.
• ASE T1-T8 certification is a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform preventative and repair maintenance.
• Repair chassis components and refuse bodies including hydraulic/electrical systems and brakes.
• Perform light engine repair, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering maintenance.
• Provide safe road service when necessary to keep equipment operational.
