Job summary

Republic Services in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment across our fleet. Under supervision, you will service chassis, refuse bodies, braking systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, and drivetrain to keep vehicles on the road.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience or education in maintenance of gasoline/diesel equipment.
• ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair chassis, refuse bodies, braking and hydraulic systems.
• Perform light engine, suspension, drivetrain, and HVAC maintenance.
• Provide on-site and road service when necessary to keep equipment operational.
• Follow company training programs and safety policies.

Skills

Diagnose multi-system issues

Basic work order knowledge

Maintenance on trucks/aircraft/ships

ASE certification optional

CDL a plus

3-5 years technician experience
