Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to service and repair diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, and braking systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic tire work, and light engine repairs both on-site and on the road.

The role requires diagnosing multi-system issues, reading work orders, and a valid driver's license. ASE credentials and CDL are pluses; experience with Class 1-8 vehicles is valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems.
• Basic understanding of work order labor standards.
• Experience with Class 1-5 light/medium and heavy-duty trucks, or related equipment.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle components on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on sites and on the road.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provide road service to return equipment to operation.
• Adhere to company training programs and safety standards.
