Job summary

Waste Pro in Georgia is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Clerk to assist the maintenance team with scheduling preventive maintenance, ordering parts, and managing maintenance records. You will enter data daily and verify it for accuracy.

This role involves maintaining parts inventory, stocking and dispensing parts to mechanics, and producing productivity reports for management, while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 6 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience in the waste or trucking industry is a plus.
• Ability to learn Waste Pro proprietary software and use MS Office, data entry, and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules preventive maintenance for Waste Pro vehicles and orders required parts.
• Files repair orders, safety lane forms and DVIRs.
• Enters maintenance data daily and verifies accuracy.
• Orders parts requested by night and day shifts with manager approval.
• Maintains parts inventory with cycle counting.
• Receives, labels, stocks and dispenses parts to staff.
• Reviews staff time cards for accuracy and notifies supervisor of issues.
• Produces productivity and usage reports for management.
• Follows safety policies and performs other duties as assigned.
