The role focuses on achieving labor efficiency, safety, and service levels while meeting financial targets. You will drive planning, staffing, labor utilization, asset management, and quality control, ensuring compliance with Ryder processes.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three (3) years or more experience in an operations environment or demonstrated success in a Ryder role required.
• One (1) year to Two (2) years or more Supervisory experience required.
• Travel 1-10%.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Manage work analysis, vehicle planning and scheduling, assign work to technicians, track productivity and optimize.
• Labor Management: Manage performance, training, and staffing plans; oversee recruitment and payroll processes.
• Customer Management: Maintain customer relationships, ensure uptime, and deliver service per plan; conduct annual reviews.
• Financial Management: Control maintenance budgets, drive cost targets, and manage invoices and reporting.
• Asset Management: Oversee shop assets, tooling, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Quality Management: Ensure safety, compliance, and quality metrics; drive continuous improvement.
