Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead location-level operations with up to 175 units. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor planning while balancing safety, quality, and cost targets.

This role emphasizes process adherence and performance against metrics. You will develop the Technical Training Plan, recruit and onboard staff, and collaborate with Sales to align service requirements with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years or more experience in an operations environment.
• One (1) year to Two (2) years or more Supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in operations management.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and personnel for locations with up to 175 equivalent truck units.
• Lead labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee safety, quality, and asset targets while meeting financial objectives.
• Develop and execute Training Plans and staffing strategies in coordination with Field Team.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with company processes and SOPs.
