Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Northridge, CA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead a shift, plan and assign work, and drive performance against safety, quality, and cost targets.

You will oversee technicians and service staff, coordinate with customer care, manage tools and parts, and ensure shop standards and training. A strong background in diagnostics and shop operations plus supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating shifts.
• Experience with maintenance operations and KPI tracking.
• Ability to communicate with customers and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and monitor work for technicians on shift.
• Ensure warranty policies and procedures are followed.
• Triages unscheduled drive-ins and communicates with customers.
• Conduct yard checks to optimize scheduling and prioritization.
• Manage performance and development of staff.
