Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance shop, supervise technicians, and ensure timely upkeep of mechanical equipment used in daily operations.

The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and strong communication to improve operational efficiency. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3–5 years in fleet maintenance, and a proven track record in supervisory roles, with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a fleet environment.
• 3–5 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to teach and train others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality.
• Review repair requests and prepare work orders.
• Lead and coach maintenance staff, evaluating performance and providing development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain effective communication across the organization to support operations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to maximize equipment uptime.
