Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles, directing a team of diesel technicians to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise on-site technicians, plan repair work, and provide hands-on maintenance while monitoring costs and vendor relations. The role requires leadership and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years' maintenance experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site technicians to perform safe, efficient repairs and maintenance.
• Plan and schedule repair work to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support and training to technicians.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and monitor costs and vendor relations.
• Inspect outside repairs for compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of engine/emission systems and vehicle components.
• Lead with clear goals and coaching for skill development.
