Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in the maintenance shop.

You will provide direct leadership for technicians and supervise the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment used in daily operations, ensuring timely installation and upkeep of our property and systems to maximize operational effectiveness. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive maintenance, with responsibilities including scheduling, coaching, enforcing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDL desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership in a supervisory role.
• 3–5 years of fleet maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises maintenance work and repairs, tracking progress and quality.
• Reviews repairs, prepares work orders, and manages safety compliance.
• Coaches, trains, and evaluates personnel; addresses performance issues as needed.
• Maintains policy consistency and safety regulations across the team.
• Communicates clearly with colleagues to uphold high levels of operational excellence.
• Plans and oversees major equipment overhauls and project work.
• Supports preventive maintenance programs to keep equipment operational.
