Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead technicians and oversee daily maintenance of our fleet and facility equipment. You will coordinate repairs, schedule PMs, coach staff, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to maximize uptime, reduce downtime, and implement preventative maintenance programs while upholding company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years in a fleet maintenance environment.
• Legally eligible to work in the US; CDL license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality.
• Reviews repairs and maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Provides coaching, training, and performance feedback to technicians and staff.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies and regulations across the team.
• Maintains a preventative maintenance program and schedules for equipment and facilities.
• Organizes crews for major equipment overhauls and replacements; supports maintenance projects.
• Drives continuous improvement through communication and collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
