Job summary

Interstate Waste Services, a leading waste and recycling provider, seeks a Supervisor of Fleet Maintenance to lead daily shop activities, maximize fleet uptime, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise technicians, drive PM programs, manage parts and cost controls, and maintain accurate maintenance documentation to deliver reliable, cost-effective fleet performance to Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy-duty fleet maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and prioritize daily work orders (PMs, breakdowns, campaigns, road calls).
• Oversee shop scheduling and efficient utilization of resources.
• Ensure PM compliance with OEM standards and company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop technicians; manage attendance and performance.
• Monitor shop KPIs and drive continuous improvement in fleet reliability.
• Coordinate downtime, repairs, and vendor coordination as needed.
