Job summary

General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking an Equipment Specialist to monitor the national vehicle maintenance program and coordinate repairs across multiple agencies. Responsibilities include acting as MCC POC, reviewing repair estimates for cost-effectiveness, and coordinating with manufacturers to obtain warranted repairs at minimal government cost.

The role requires knowledge of contract requirements, ability to analyze repair data, and experience in resolving complex vehicle

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in automotive field for securing cost-effective vehicle repairs.
• Insuring contract compliance with repair services & supplies.
• Evaluating and advising on customer complaints about vehicle & vendor performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary POC for MCC; guide customers and contractors through maintenance processes.
• Review estimates for cost effectiveness and ensure contract compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturers' reps to obtain warranted repairs at minimal cost to government.
