Job summary

GSA seeks an Equipment Specialist to monitor the national vehicle maintenance program. You will serve as a primary contact for the Maintenance Control Center, coordinating repairs and reviewing contractor estimates to ensure cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities include guiding customers and vendors, coordinating with manufacturers for warranted repairs, and ensuring contract compliance. You will analyze data and assist customers to provide timely MCC support and information.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in automotive field preferred.
• Ability to review repair estimates for cost effectiveness.
• Knowledge of contract requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary POC for MCC; guide customers and contractors through vehicle maintenance processes.
• Review repair estimates for cost effectiveness and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with manufacturers' reps to obtain warranted repairs at minimal cost to the Government.
• Provide timely customer assistance by researching records and interviewing designated contacts.
• Verify contractual agreements with cross-service contractors and resolve issues.
