Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to support the maintenance function. The role focuses on keeping parts available cost-effectively, maintaining fleet records, and entering data into the fleet system.

You will work with vendors, prepare purchase orders, and ensure accurate invoicing and payment processes. The position involves reporting to the Fleet Manager, assisting with parts organization, and generating reports for management.

Qualifications

• Related experience in a maintenance / trucking industry.
• 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fleet inventory levels and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inputs fleet information into the fleet management system daily.
• Prepares truck purchase orders and assigns ledger codes.
• Receives, tags, stocks and dispenses parts to mechanics.
• Reviews purchase orders with accounting for accurate payments.
• Produces productivity and usage reports for management review.
