Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a logistics professional to build and maintain driver relationships, optimize loads, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet customer expectations. The role requires a degree in business or transportation/logistics and 2–3 years of fleet management experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with Dedicated Logistics Managers to ensure full driver coverage, adhere to service standards, and contribute to Werner's delivery performance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree (Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics) preferred.
• Two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and proven management ability are required.
• Proficiency with computer terminals and satellite communications systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships by understanding and meeting driver needs.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Understand customer dynamics and initiatives to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Interface with billing, operations, safety, payroll, and other departments.
• Work with Logistics Managers to maintain a full board of drivers and ensure coverage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and maintain timely attendance.
