Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a GPS Clerk on a temporary, full-time basis in Wall Township, New Jersey. You will monitor, track, and report the real-time movement of company vehicles and assets using GPS software to support safe driving, route efficiency, and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include setting up geofences, generating routine fleet performance reports, and coordinating with drivers and dispatch to resolve issues while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proficiency with GPS tracking software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with on-the-road drivers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GPS tracking systems to ensure timely fleet operations.
• Set up and monitor geofences to track arrival and departure times.
• Monitor alerts, deviations, delays and any issues or concerns.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and other terminal personnel regarding any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fleet performance.
• Identify and report any technical issues with GPS hardware or software.
• Work closely with team on system and program improvements and integrations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
