Aston Carter is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a contract role based in South Brunswick and Dayton, NJ. The position is fully onsite with a 40-hour work week, including a Wednesday short day and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM.

The successful candidate will manage load planning, driver scheduling, dispatch, and daily data entry in the TMW system, while coordinating invoicing and safety-related tasks with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, fleet coordination, or a 3PL environment.
• Strong computer/data-entry skills.
• Experience coordinating or monitoring drivers and shipments.
• Familiarity with the TMW system is preferred, though training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Maintain positive relations with drivers.
• Communicate service issues to internal and external teams.
• Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties.
• Coordinate daily data entry into the TMW system.
• Work with the home-office invoicing team to ensure timely weekly customer invoices.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
• Provide weekly KPI reports to internal and external parties.
• Coordinate daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Collaborate with safety on DriveCam, driver compliance, and HOS issues.
• Assist the Project Manager with Safety, Security, and Labor policies.
• Provide coverage during vacations and holidays.
• Manage and maintain driver payroll.
• Audit and approve driver expense reports; provide assistance to PM as needed.
