Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly analytical Bid Analyst to own the government bid process, research bids, track awarded contracts, and automate reporting. You will collaborate with FCSD and Ford Pro Teams to secure contracts, with strong growth potential in Ford Pro or FCSD.

Preferred candidates are in the Detroit area or near a Ford Regional Office, and recent graduates will be considered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Data Science.
Strong analytical and programming skills with the ability to investigate complex data, identify meaningful trends, and deliver clear, actionable analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, and Power Automate; able to produce accurate, polished deliverables with minimal guidance.
Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce) to manage customer relationships, track sales, and analyze customer data.

Responsibilities

Own bid contracts from proposal through milestones and ensure deliverables are met weekly.
Manage multiple projects with competing demands under tight deadlines.
Take ownership of undefined projects and innovate with minimal supervision.
Review contracts to identify gaps in compliance quickly.
Conduct research on local, state, and federal automotive RFPs and summarize data for field teams.
Prepare and format bid/RFP documents for distribution to the Field Team.
Automate weekly bid reports for management across sales channels.
