Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly analytical Bid Analyst to own the government bid process, research bids and contracts, and automate reporting with Ford Pro and FCSD teams. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and collaboration across multiple teams.

The position requires strong Excel/Power BI skills, experience with Salesforce, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Travel to market area meetings is expected; hybrid onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management or Data Science.
• Strong analytical and programming skills, ability to investigate complex data and deliver actionable analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, Power Automate; produce polished deliverables with minimal guidance.
• CRM software (Salesforce) experience to manage customer relationships, track sales, and analyze data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex info clearly to varied audiences.
• Meticulous proofreading and quality-control skills; ensure accuracy.
• Experience working with procurement officials and handling time-sensitive requests.
• Comfort with interacting with CEO/Director level personnel; travel to market area meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own all bid contract proposals ensuring bid specs, deliverables and milestones are met weekly.
• Manage multiple projects with competing demands under tight deadlines.
• Take ownership of undefined projects and drive innovation with minimal supervision.
• Review contracts and identify gaps in compliance quickly.
• Research local, state and federal automotive RFPs; stay up-to-date.
• Summarize and format bid/RFP documents for Field/Management teams.
• Automate weekly bid reports for Field/Management teams across sales channels.
• Monitor expenditures vs. budgets and prepare management reports.
• Analyze and validate data for National Incentive payouts and finance budgets.
• Collaborate with procurement officials and Ford teams; travel as needed.
• Attend Pre-Bid meetings and build relationships with government agencies.
