Job summary

The City of Phoenix is seeking a Support Services Aide in Fleet Service Dispatch to ensure timely roadside assistance for a large city vehicle fleet. You will handle dispatch calls, coordinate rovers and service providers, and maintain logs and records to support operations.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, multitask under pressure, and collaborate with internal teams while upholding top customer service standards. Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible clerical work experience providing the ability to maintain a variety of financial and related records, perform basic mathematical computations, operate base radios/telephone equipment, order and dispense supplies and materials, and deal with the public.
• Proficiency with fleet management systems (Assetworks, Samsara) and standard business software.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, email, calendaring).

Responsibilities

• Answer and process incoming calls and digital requests for roadside assistance, collecting essential details.
• Dispatch appropriate service providers based on location, availability, and service requirements.
• Track dispatched jobs in real time and provide updates to customers on estimated arrival times.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch details, and outcomes for reporting.
