The City of Phoenix is seeking a Fleet Analyst (Methods and Standards Analyst) within the Public Works Department. The role conducts studies, reviews data from fleet maintenance systems, and develops improved operation methods and procedures to optimize city fleet performance.

Ideal candidates will write clear reports, perform time, motion and cost analyses, and determine equipment needs for end-users while maintaining accurate records and coordinating training. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a fleet environment as an analyst, OR three years as a journeyman mechanic.
• ASE General Automotive Mechanic certification.
• College-level courses in statistics, mathematics or accounting.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate City vehicles.
• Background check required.
