Page Transportation & Page E.t.c. is seeking a dispatcher to optimize weekly truck operations from our Weedsport, NY office. The role emphasizes coordinating freight, directing drivers, and resolving shipping requirements with strong communication.

You will interact with drivers, customers, and the terminal manager to ensure smooth terminal flow and profitability, while meeting weekly targets and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of dispatch work experience in the commercial transportation industry.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Team player with solid judgment and decision-making.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and work in a drug-free environment.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight using the load progression workflow to direct drivers to locations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and terminal manager to resolve shipping issues.
• Plan future loads while maintaining weekly sales targets for the terminal.
• Broker excess freight to carriers and sister terminals.
• Maintain professional interface representing Page Transportation & Page E.t.c.
