Job summary

You will prepare daily dispatch sheets, monitor hours-of-service, align loads with available carriers, and maintain clear communication with stores, drivers and customers to sustain on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–3 years of distribution/transport experience.
• Ability to learn the service area and delivery locations.
• Experience using computerized routing software.
• Excellent organization, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of owner operators and drivers for freight delivery.
• Prepare daily dispatch sheets for dispatchers and data entry.
• Monitor hours of service compliance and plan load movement.
