Job summary

Tilley Distribution is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate drivers and vehicles for freight delivery, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. The role involves tracking driver, vehicle, and order assignments and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include dispatching orders, monitoring on-time delivery performance, coordinating maintenance, and training drivers.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience (preferred).
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch customer orders on Tilley bulk and package trucks using online routing software.
• Own on-time delivery performance of third party carriers for division shipments.
• Coordinate pick up of purchase orders from vendors and RGAs from customers.
• Provide delivery status to customer service and sales.
• Work with maintenance provider to ensure trucks are maintained and repairs are completed in a timely manner and documented.
• Train drivers on company policies and ensure DOT regulations are adhered to.
