Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth in on-site fleet maintenance. The role performs DOT inspections, PMs, and light to heavy diagnostics with supervision, using a range of tools and equipment in a Cox Fleet shop environment.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related field experience, and a valid driver's license; ASE T8 within 18 months is preferred. Expect comprehensive benefits and weekly pay in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with experience; 3 years in related field, or 5 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain/maintain Driver Qualification File.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and Preventive Maintenance inspections.
• Carry out light to heavy-duty diagnostics and repairs under supervision.
• Document work and upload RO details using Karmak device.
• Use hand tools, diesel tools, welding equipment, lifts and jacks as needed.
• Maintain safety, comply with OSHA/EPA/DOT, and follow company policies.
