Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to medium repairs on our fleet. You will work in a Shop environment with responsibilities including diagnostics, safety, and documentation using the Karmak system.

You will collaborate with the Service Writer, handle multiple tasks, and maintain high productivity while complying with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. ASE certifications and a proactive learning mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience; or 5 years in related field.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification preferred; obtain ASE T8 within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain safe work environment and accurate RO documentation using Karmak.
• Collaborate with Service Writer and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
