Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a shop setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems and maintain documentation on Repair Orders using company tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years related experience.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical may be required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and Preventive Maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems and perform diagnostics.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document work performed.
• Interact with Service Writer to assess customer needs and approvals for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
