Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking an Asset Management Business Partner to oversee the life-cycle performance of all assets in the BU.

You will manage fleet performance, profitability by customer and location, and provide financial and operational leadership across Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, and RVS functions. Responsibilities include leading asset reviews, coordinating asset calls, and driving continuous improvement in asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5+ years of rental/operations/sales or related industry experience.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet performance, asset profitability and lifecycle within the BU.
• Coordinate asset management with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, RVS and Finance.
• Lead asset reviews and weekly asset calls across functional areas.
• Drive depreciation, fleet optimization and ROA reporting for 188,000+ vehicles.
• Mentor teams and promote cross-functional collaboration.
