Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Asset Management Business Partner to oversee lifecycle performance of assets and fleet management across the Business Unit. The role involves margin and profitability analysis, coordinating with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, and RVS, and driving asset optimization.

The position reports to the Director of Asset Management and requires strategic leadership to maximize asset value across 188,000+ vehicles and $6.8B in assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in Rental, Operations, Sales or related fields.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% and operate in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Fleet management and asset performance analysis within assigned geographic area.
• Lead asset reviews and coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS and RVS.
• Manage depreciation and lifecycle reporting for assets across the BU.
• Provide training and mentorship to Rental teams and coordinate with OEMs and Purchasing.
