Job summary

ITS Logistics is seeking an Asset Manager to own the asset lifecycle of the Class 8 fleet, ensuring right-sizing, uptime, and total cost of ownership. You will partner with operations, maintenance, finance, vendors, and leadership to drive data-driven decisions that improve fleet performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet management or asset management.
• Experience managing Class 8 equipment or dry van trailers preferred.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations governing trailers and CMVs.
• Experience with fleet management, TMS, GPS, or telematics platforms.
• Experience with vendor management and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset lifecycle from specification to disposal or resale.
• Monitor fleet utilization, asset age, and downtime to size trailer pools.
• Coordinate replacement, maintenance, and CAPEX plans.
• Evaluate lease-vs-buy and new-vs-used opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations.
