Job summary

Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle of a defined asset group including vehicles and heavy equipment. This role focuses on asset utilization, uptime, maintenance planning, and disposition at end of lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing maintenance cycles, driving performance improvements, and advising on asset purchases, refurbishments, or leasing while ensuring KPI targets are met and data-driven reporting is maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Equipment Management, or related.
• 1-3 yrs. of professional experience.
• Database management, project management, equipment operations, or facility management experience.

Responsibilities

• Influences design and oversees asset maintenance cycles and repair programs to reduce costs and improve uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset performance including PM monitoring and condition monitoring.
• Assist management with lifecycle positioning decisions and strategic placement/logistics issues.
• Evaluate asset requests and advise on refurbishment, resale, new purchases, or leasing options.
• Manage asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Prepare and maintain reports on maintenance, repairs, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance.
• Oversee the purchasing and build process for new assets from start to finish.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs for asset class and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Provide asset management guidance to Maintenance, Management, and Operations staff.
